Teen Volleyball League is for ages 13-16
This is a co-ed league that focuses on fundamentals and teamwork. This is a recreational program; designed to help the young player develop, and enjoy the game.
Their age determines the division your child will participate in on September 6, 2025. Participants must be 13 by then, and players who turned 17 before September 6, 2025, are no longer eligible to participate in this division.
Games are on Saturday mornings, and a 1-hour practice one night during the week.
Practice Days are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays at 7 pm or 8 p.m. for one hour.
Season September 6 - October 25, 2025
Tournament on November 1
Registration opens on July 1 for Surf City Residents and July 6 for non-residents.
Space is Limited
Registration will close when full.
Early-bird Registration until 7/13/25
Surf City Resident Individual Fee $60, Non-Resident Fee $90
After 7/13/25:
Surf City Resident Individual Fee $65, Non-Resident Fee $95
Jerseys are included in the registration fee.
All coaches are volunteers. If you would like to coach, please email us at athletics@surfcitync.gov.
Team assignments - NO GUARANTEES
Returning players will be placed on the same team they were on last season. Coaches' children will be placed on their team. We strive to keep teams fair with the age and gender of players. All new players to this division will be placed randomly by gender and age on the remaining teams. Please understand we can not always meet all other requests that are made.

REFUND POLICY:
A full refund (or house credit) if requested 2 weeks prior to the start of this activity. A partial refund less a $15 administrative fee will be given if requested up to 2 weeks after the program has started. No refunds will be given after 2 weeks at the start of the program.
